Jennifer Lopez, aged 54, opted to wear only a semi-sheer lace red dress for ELLE’s Women In Hollywood cover shoot, standing out among other celebrities. During the shoot, she shared her belief that women become more attractive as they age.
For her cover feature in the magazine, she decided to don a stunning gold lamé one-shoulder dress. Joining her on the cover are other fabulous celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Taraji P. Henson, and America Ferrera.
She highlighted the increase in opportunities for older women, noting that society now recognizes the allure and appeal of women aging gracefully. As women mature, they become more knowledgeable and develop a deeper, more captivating character. This inner transformation, along with the physical changes that come with age, adds to their overall beauty and attractiveness.
She expressed her desire to continue working for as long as she wants, without being limited by age. The idea of gaining wisdom and character as one ages is beautiful and attractive to her, both physically and internally.
Jennifer envisions herself working at any age she chooses, be it 70, 80, or 90, with the freedom to create her own path without being confined by societal expectations or limitations.
In a stunning red leotard and a daring black gown, Jennifer exuded confidence during the interview, reflecting on her journey in Hollywood. She acknowledged the challenges faced as a Latina actress and expressed a wish to have made more careful choices in her career earlier on.
Looking back, she realizes the importance of being selective with projects and collaborating with directors she truly admires. Instead of feeling restricted by stereotypes, she now understands the value of choosing material that aligns with her artistic vision.

She finds it offensive to suggest that women are only interested in watching love stories or romantic comedies. ‘I believe that idea is disrespectful.’
When it comes to creating projects centered on women, she mentioned, “The foundation for this has been laid down by many for a long time. Change doesn’t happen overnight, but we are gradually shifting old ideas and paradigms to bring about real change.”
Reflecting on her past work, she admitted, “I wasn’t as meticulous as I should have been. If I had the chance to start over, I would have prioritized the director’s role in a project while acting. Just like in music, the producers you collaborate with hold significant importance.”
Now, the legendary figure is determined to match the accomplishments of men and is steering her own narrative. Through Nuyorican Productions, she has overseen the production of various projects such as Hustlers, The Mother on Netflix, as well as TV shows like The Fosters and Shades of Blue.
