Gal Gadot and her husband crossed paths for the first time in 2006 at a gathering described as a ‘chakra/yoga retreat type of party’ in the Israeli desert, as she shared with Vogue. At that time, she was just 21 years old.
“He had this cool demeanor about him. We were part of the same social circle, but we were basically strangers,” the Justice League actress recalled.
“There was just something special that clicked between us right from the beginning,” she admitted. “Once we got back home, I couldn’t help but call him right away. I just had to ask him out on a date.”
Varsano, her husband, was similarly enchanted by their connection. “We talked until 10 p.m., kissed at sunrise, and held hands on the drive back to Tel Aviv. It felt like we were inseparable in that moment. It was truly magical,” he shared.
